Spinning Flax in the 1940's

Flax is a wonderfully durable fiber that has a long history of being spun into linen. And as linen, it has been found in prehistoric cave dwellings, wrapped around Egyptian mummies, and even used as currency in some cultures. Here's a great video showing how flax was processed into linen back in the 1940's.
